Im letzten Monat zogen mit der Hilfe meines Bruders die Kontakte, Kalender, Google Drive und Dropbox von meiner Frau und mir in die eigene Nextcloud um. Nicht nur sind die Kontakte jetzt aufgeräumt und besser gepflegt, nein, ich freue mich auch jedes Mal, wenn ich die Kalender-App öffne.

Das Beste: Ich erzählte im Livestream davon und eine Freundin nahm meinen Bericht zum Anlass, es uns nachzutun. Das fand ich stark!

Just 297 more days until I am set to DeGoogle from Android (2027, January 1st deadline) yet I am so far behind on my APK backup goal. I currently have my eyes on this phone to replace my aging and heavily damaged Samsung Galaxy S20:

@Wtebbens Couldn´t agree more, and one of the biggest changes we can do as individuals is to make sure the hardware (laptops and cellphones) we buy are #MadeInEurope and run operating systems free from silicon valley spyware. Time to #degoogleyourlife with a #Fairphone or a #shiftphone running #IodeOS or Murena.

So I went to F-Droid and attempted to download the public transport plugin for Kvaesitso.

And I got a Google Play Protect popup message warning "harmful app detected".

It gave no further details about why this app is harmful.

Does anyone know if this app is harmful? If so how?

Or is this Google being a monopolist and blocking competing open source apps?
