Porcini tables by Lorenza Bozzoli for Dedon
Dezeen Showroom: Milan-based designer Lorenza Bozzoli has created a collection of woven side tables for Dedon that resemble porcini mushrooms.
Named Porcini, the collection of tables is designed to be a practical yet sculptural addition to outdoor spaces.
The range comprises three side tables and one coffee table, complete with a handcrafted ceramic tabletop and a woven base that together are loosely shaped like the Italian mushroom.
The tables are available in a variety of sizes
Ceramic table tops are available in black, taupe, terra or nori, and are characterised by their scratch-proof, shock-resistant qualities.
Designed to match the handcrafted tabletop, each base is made using eye-catching woven fibre and rope, each offering its own different woven colour combinations.
They can be grouped together or used individually
The Porcini tables can be used individually or arranged in clusters combining the different heights and sizes.

MBRACE outdoor seating by Sebastian Herkner for Dedon
Dezeen Showroom: a woven shell distinguishes the MBRACE outdoor seating collection, designed by Sebastian Herkner for Dedon to engulf its user in a comfortable embrace.
The MBRACE range encompasses five seating designs including lounge chairs, armchairs, daybeds and rocking chairs.
The chairs are made from teak and woven outdoor fibre
All feature a woven seat made from a weather-resistant, synthetic fibre that remains comfortable in any season.
"I wanted to use the traditional technique of weaving to create a strong design that was like a gesture – the gesture of embracing someone," explained Herkner.
Tables and footstools also feature in the collection
MBRACE seating comes in six colourways, designed by Herkner in collaboration with renowned colourist Giulio Ridolfo.
Its frame is rendered either in teak wood or aluminium, which is powder-coated to create a finish that is durable and easy to maintain.
Comfortable cushions line the seats
For added comfort, optional seat and back cushions are available that were designed to envelop the user.
Beyond outdoor seating, the MBRACE collection also features matching coffee and side tables as well as a footstool.

The Others lanterns by Stephen Burks for Dedon
Dezeen Showroom: American designer Stephen Burks has designed a collection of hand-woven outdoor lights for Dedon that can be used individually or arranged in totem-like stacks.
Called The Others, the collection comprises 12 lanterns of different sizes, which either stand on a milled marble base or are hung like pendants.
The Others lanterns come in a variety of different shapes
According to Dedon, the lanters were designed to "take on the appearance of illuminated characters" and can be adorned with eye-shaped acrylic appliques to enhance their anthropomorphic qualities.
"We wanted to make them a kind of family, so they're similarly woven but each unique," said Burks.
Dedon's collection is available with a milled marble base and acrylic eyes
The lamps are hand-woven in the Philippines and provide warm, atmospheric lighting that is dimmable via remote control.
"A collection at once functional and fun, The Others bring colour, diversity, illumination and companionship to any outdoor setting," Dedon added.

Dala outdoor seating by Stephen Burks for Dedon
Dezeen Showroom: Stephen Burks has designed Dala, a collection of outdoor seating for Dedon that is informed by travel and woven using traditional Filipino craft techniques.
The Dala family includes lounge chairs, club chairs and sofas, with a frame made from powder-coated aluminium mesh.
This is interlaced with fabric strips made from a durable, synthetic fibre, using an artisanal weaving technique that is native to the Cebu Islands of the Philippines.
The woven Dala chairs have plush cushions
The proprietary material, called Fibre Touch, is weather-resistant and available in five colourways within the Dala collection.
Each colourway is named after a specific location – from Rioja and Cuba to Ubud and Ibiza – and was designed in collaboration with Italian "colour master" Giulio Ridolfo as a visual reflection of that destination.
Its colours are informed by places around the world
Lightweight and portable, the seating is designed for flexible outdoor placement and comes with plush, UV-resistant cushions in a selection of Dedon's own textiles.
"Pieces sit directly on the ground and are easily moved around the patio or carried down the steps to the beach," Burks explained.
The furniture is designed to be flexibly rearranged
The Dala collection also includes a series of side and coffee tables, as well as planters and lanterns, all of which are woven in the same design as the seating.

KIDA hanging lounge chair by Stephen Burks for Dedon
Dezeen Showroom: American designer Stephen Burks has created a hanging lounge chair wrapped in colourful, weather-resistant rope for outdoor furniture brand Dedon.
Called KIDA, the outdoor chair consists of a lightweight but sturdy frame made of aluminium rods, which are curved to create a nest-like swinging structure.

Each of these rods is wrapped in cords of a synthetic, weather-resistant material named Fibre Touch, which Dedon says is recyclable and non-toxic.
Featured on KIDA in three striped colourways, the fibre maintains a soft, tactile quality while being durable enough to withstand the elements.

Fitted into the chair's cradle-like frame is a plush removable cushion that comes in a variety of colours.
According to Burks, KIDA was informed by a desire to reinvent the traditional hanging chair. His design is less enclosed due to its skeletal structure, allowing users to feel "as free as the breeze".

Dedon is renowned for its woven outdoor furniture, which is made using traditional Filipino craft techniques. The KIDA lounge chair is the company's first product to be wrapped rather than woven in its trademark fibre.
"The wrapping emphasises the geometry of the structure," Burks explained.
