In my home province of #NewBrunswick our autocrat #oilExec #premier #blaineHiggs is attempting to #criminalize #drugAddiction and #homelessness. He's already threatened to use the #NotWithstanding clause to force his new "mandatory addictions treatment" bill through.
We have ZERO space in addictions programs.
We have ZERO free beds in hospitals.
We have a BRAND NEW jail being built that no one knows why.
The people on our streets will be rounded up and left to rot in overcrowded lockups where they will NOT receive adequate medical treatment, nor the financial and social services they **ACTUALLY NEED**.
It's actions like these that have caused A DOZEN of his own party members to resign.
