Summer is here. I'm looking forward to the rainstorms and darkening clouds during the day.

Now I'm posting photos from my #Debonair #toycamera, with Lomochrome '92 film. While it's a less funky #Lomography film, it still has a funky cool color. #nyc #brooklyn #streetphotography #mexicanfood #believeinfilm #analogphotography #filmphotography

A few years ago I found an ebook by 19th century author Rowland Robinson: "In New England Fields and Woods." It's a descriptive journey through the seasons, detailing flora and fauna in the region.

While reading, I visualized scenes along Blood's Brook, which flows around my old elementary school. One year for science class we mapped a long section by walking in its flow. Many other lessons also involved Blood's Brook.

Let me digress (from the GAP and C&O bike tour). I just shot another roll of film (FPP Wolfman) on my #debonair. I like how the plastic lens vignettes and becomes softer around the corners. Though I don't always like the strong contrast of this film. I wasted most of the previous 2 rolls from underexposure, so this time I learnt to use a light meter app (Lightme, I love it) and things worked out much better. But is that too serious for this toy camera? Also next time I should use my hand to block out the sun when doing those shadow shots. #nyc #blaackandwhitephotography #monochrome #blackandwhite #streetphotography #lofi #lomography #toycamera #darktable #believeinfilm #analogphotography #filmphotography #120film
