Esta semana en el #viernesdeescritorio, el mismo escritorio de la semana pasada, pero esta vez con Plasma 6.3.2 😎 . También he añadido un widget de monitoreo del sistema y he cambiado los iconos.

Qt 6.8 and Plasma 6.3.2 now available in #DebianUnstable aiming for #DebianTrixie.
I have been putting the Debian (13) Trixie live image through its paces on a couple of laptops.
The past few days it was a 2014 Acer Aspire E 15 (Intel Celeron, 8 GB RAM).
Today's it's my daily driver laptop, the 2017 HP Envy (Intel Core i7 7th Gen, 16 GB RAM).
The HP has occasional issues with suspend/resume and shutdown that have persisted from Debian (12) Bullseye through Fedora Silverblue (late 30s through 41).
I am running the live Debian TESTING image with GNOME 47 right now.
Everything looks good.
Here is where you can find live images for Debian (13) Trixie

Nice, it looks like there's going to be a #SecureBoot-signed version of #systemdboot in #DebianTrixie.

@vbernat Update: I played around in a #debianTrixie podman container.
I had to change "copy-mode" to "copy-mode-vi" to make it work. But the "n" key conflicts with "search-again" (https://manpages.debian.org/testing/tmux/tmux.1.en.html#search-again).
Not sure yet, how to make it work correctly, when in selection mode.
Anyway: thanks for sharing the config!
Done!
Installation was bumpy… The main issue was that I chose btrfs
for /boot
, which apparently needs ext4
instead.
Now I am getting this error message during boot, does anyone have any idea about how to solve this? (Please tell me I don’t need to reinstall…)
Apart from that everything seems to be working well! I will conclude the configuration tomorrow.
