Hahaha, it might be a personal curiosity for me.
I fully admit that #Deathrace2000 might be the better thing to catch up on. I only saw the last fifteen minutes or so.
But I kind of want to know. I remember the posters and Godzilla ads from younger years and Iām just so curious.

Thinking back about #DeathRace2000 , Anyone notice that "Machine Gun Joe Viterbo" never once used the machine guns on his car?
I also can't help but notice the simalarities between that scene where he stands up in his car and starts yelling and shooting at the crowd with his chopper, and the scene from Rambo where he's standing with a 50cal shooting and yelling. It would really be something if that scene was inspired by the scene from Death Race 2000.
For the record, Death Race 2000 was released in 1975, Rambo was released in 1982. So it's totally possible. :)

@combatwombat @ramsey @kcarr2015 @yatsu I think I saw that one... IMO it's too legitimate to really qualify as "schlock" in the way that we are used to on #Monsterdon. Like, it tries, but the secrets of the high art of schlock have been lost to the mists of history.
@ramsey What intrigues me is he seems to be doing a satirical take on Rocky Balboa a year before Rocky was in theaters.
