#ThursDeath for this week is the awesome, crushing debut LP by Adelaide, Australia's CHARNEL ALTAR from 2021. This fucker is heavier than shit. It both chugs and trudges along, it's really a ride. No track is shorter than 6 minutes, and most are longer-- the first is over 8. Blackened death doom of the finest caliber. Rotting and sorrow and worms.

Sonic Mass Vol. 1 - A Ritual Of Amplified Sound

SONIC MASS is a new Berlin concert series focused on doom and sludge in its heaviest form.
The idea is simple: proper backlines, carefully curated bands, and a sound that is meant to be physically felt — not just heard. Too many doom shows end up running through small backlines that flatten the impact this music should have.
For the first edition we’re bringing two of the loudest bands in Europe to Berlin:
CULT OF OCCULT(Lyon)
BBBW (Dortmund)
They will be joined by Berlin’s own PIECE, one of the city’s most established doom bands, and the younger generation represented by ARA.
Between the bands, MAD will create a dark ambient / noise atmosphere, and the night will close with a live synthesizer set by CHA0SY .

We were pretty silent lately. But for a good reason. We are working hard on new songs, new merch ideas etc. And of course we are recording the new songs piece by piece. We are also looking for gig opportunities across Germany and even Europe.
