Read the thread on violence in #kdrama land. I made it through s1 of #taxidriver but decided to skip S2. I feel that #theglory is a masterpiece of revenge being served cold. I think I’m the only person who never made it past ep 3 of #vincenzo. Ironically I found the Korean version of #boysbeforeflowers unwatchable because of the violence.
I liked #revenant and #dearhongrang otherwise I don’t watch a lot of horror.

The other guest on this episode of #ChefAndMyFridge is #ParkByeonEun who I have recently seen in #DearHongrang, but who I really associate with #BecauseThisIsMyFirstLife.

This show is fun, but much more so when I recognise the guests.

@EllenInEdmonton @commonst @ronsboy67 Haha, yes, I don't just follow up on any comment -you also never agree, so that would not be possible- but I have avoided a few new ones that now no one really cares about anymore. #dearhongrang was getting way too dark and ugly for me at a certain point, unfortunately bc it was great up until that.

@commonst @EllenInEdmonton @ronsboy67 After #mydearestnemesis and #dearhongrang that started out great, but which I dropped later on, I now wait to see the overall verdict of you #kdrama nims before starting anything!

Now back to working down my personal #kdrama viewing list.

#TheBestHit - started with partner but he gave up on it, picking it up again for myself.

#DearHongrang - good, but dark. Watching slowly.

#RomanceIsABonusBook - fun, I have been posting on this and may continue that.

#CafeMinamdang - a rewatch that keeps dropping to the bottom of my list even though I like it because it is a rewatch.

Let's see if I can work this down a bit before starting something new.

Prince's brave friend stands up to Dad and will do honourable thing amd to heck with the patriarchy.

Seonghyeon revives the patriarchy. This feels like a scene I just watched in #DearHongrang actually, where Ji Yae confronts her brother when he decides he will marry her and Hongrang be damned.

I dropped #Vincenzo and #TaxiDriver when I was quite well into them, so my tolerance for fighting and gore isn't that high.
However, I completed #DearHongrang and #AKillerParadox, so it's dependent on mood and how the story/acting strikes me.
@whoosh and I are currently watching and loving #NinePuzzles. It's quite cerebral, which Paradox was, as well. And, #SonSukku!

Finished E4 of #DearHongrang #νƒ„κΈˆ and things got way more complicated, and I have to admit I’m a bit confused about some of the characters, which is a bit frustrating because about now is when I feel I should be settling in on who is who. #kdrama
