Deadly Friend was Wes Craven's follow-up to one of the great 80s horror films, A Nightmare on Elm Street. This movie is a little bit of a Frankenstein tale and does have a tiny bit of humor laced into it as seen in a very memorable moment when Kristy Swanson gets creative with a basketball.
