Potash Ponds at Dead Horse Point State Park.
Yes, this pond is a vibrant blue and can be seen from very, very far away. The mine operators dissolve the potash underground and pump the water into these ponds; the sun evaporates the water, and then you can get at the potash very easily.
Kinda a shame they had to put these ponds in sight of dead horse though - they are striking, but I don't know that I'd call them pretty
