#deGrom signing with Texas hurts. I can’t blame him for taking that contract but leaving a 101 win team with an owner dedicated to spending and winning a championship in the next few years to go to a 68 win team is certainly a choice. #LGM #mets

DeGrom must have seriously just wanted to get off of the #Mets to take a contract from the #Rangers without even allowing the Mets to counter offer. If that's what he wanted, he certainly got that, and will certainly count that money while the team wallows around 3rd place.
