Fast, accurate, and played with feeling, as done in some passages here, is a rare combination; but then, Danny Gatton was a rare player. The tune, itself, is relatively slow. Contrast what you hear on this track with the franticness of "Fingers on Fire" on his "Unfinished Business" album.

This is an unusual listening experience but you probably got that from the title. The track comes from Gatton's big album, "99 Elmira St." Some cuts on the record have too much band but it seems to me the production got it about right in this crazy case. "In MY Room" is from Danny Gatton's big album, "88 Elmira St." His performance on this track is faithful and pretty subdued: - not typical of his usually aggressive recordings. It gets a little wilder during the fade out. "A little wilder" and "fade out"? Don't expect to get overwhelmed. Still, it is very nice and well worth waiting for.
