Tried to clean up and straighten up this photo of the West Falls Church Metro station redevelopment plan (which may be online somewhere, but if so I haven't seen it).
This is one of the last Metro stations in Virginia that hasn't been redeveloped with lots of multi-use 3- and 4-storey buildings around it, and one of the most affordable Metro-adjacent neighborhoods left in Virginia.
Most of what's being redeveloped seems to be the large, space-wasting surface parking lots, but it's too bad they can't keep some of the mature trees through to the end state. 😕

Arlington County staff are seeking state funding to replace an old elevator at the Courthouse Metro station with two up-to-date lifts. It could be a decade before the multimillion-dollar proposal becomes reality. County transportation staff have ranked an $11.7 million request for new elevators as the third top priority among 13 requests totaling $115.7 million.
