Maggio è mese di anniversari dolorosi. Il 5 del 1972 un DC-8 Alitalia con 115 persone a bordo si schiantò sul costone di Montagna Longa, a poca distanza dall’aeroporto di Palermo. Malgrado quel “i ricordi ce li aggiustiamo” pronunciato da una parente delle vittime nel film "La migliore verità" di Lorenza Indovina – figlia del regista, morto anch’egli in quell’incidente e che oggi dona dignità a quelle vittime –, il mio ricordo di testimone oculare resta indelebile per la crudeltà delle immagini. Al pari di quelle incontrate in contrada Feudo il 9 maggio di anni dopo: il ritrovamento dei resti del corpo di Peppino.
