Seriously, One cannot deploy #ClownFlare in compliance with #GDPR & #BDSG as these are incompatible with the demands of #CloudAct and #CloudFlare is too busiy #bootlicking, so even if they could somehow do a legal construction to avoid that [which would mean they'd have to build a fully independent subsidiary in the EU and GeoIP stuff which isn't even reliable!) they won't!
@kkarhan@infosec.space Yeah but who is talking about exporting PII, including IP addresses? Umami doesn't store IP addresses. Not sure if CloudFlare does, but since a huge chunk of websites use CloudFlare and their security rules, pretty sure it's ok. It's not being used to track anyone.

@Rex_Banner Das ist das nächste große Problem an der Sache. Selbst wenn man nicht in einen Dissens gerät, wird man halt Futter für #databroker. Aber ich stimme dir voll zu. Eine solche Pflicht würde den offenen Diskurs allein durch die Möglichkeit von Übergriffen zum kompletten Erliegen bringen.
