This is old-vines 2011 Touriga Nacional from Passarella, emphasizing finesse and acidity; there's not a hint of jammy and it isn't very fleshy. The tannic backbone is still obvious, but needed age has improved this to a point where it is in good balance (especially the next day), with the blackberries and blue fruits more obvious on a juicy, lifted finish. Enticing because it's so fresh and bright, it's aging beautifully. No rush! 13.5%, $50-ish these days.
