While in Copenhagen I walked to Vestre Cemetery to visit the grave of the singer Liva Weel (1897-1952).

Her recording of the song ‘Man Binder Os På Mund Og Hånd’ (‘We Are Bound Mouth And Hand’) is one of my all-time favourite tracks.

Such a sad, beautiful song.
