我第一次听书信体小说，感觉即便叙述方式受限，从每个POV第一人称视角听故事还是很有意思的，特别是大部分事情都只有一个人叙述，而有时候我能感觉到这个叙述者的不可靠或者偏见。
现在这个年代连电邮体小说都写不了了，大概只有短信对话体。

听到结局之前觉得电影没有改多少嘛，一些台词甚至是从原著来的，比如男人的欢乐来自获得爱，女人的欢乐来自给予爱。
但是结局改了好多，梅尔特依侯爵夫人不仅被社会唾弃，还得了天花毁容了，因为打输官司破产，最后跑去了荷兰。塞西尔最后去修道院当了修女，Danceny也离开了巴黎。我觉得塞西尔这个结局比电影合理多了，因为说白了瓦尔蒙诱奸了她，她的情人也背着她瞎搞，我不觉得这样之后她还会喜欢Danceny。

故事到中间还挺狗血言情的，但我觉得这个浪子回头的结尾非常上世纪口味。Glenn Close的角色有点像（世人眼中）邪恶仙女教母，还挺好玩的。塞西尔居然是年轻的乌玛·瑟曼，这个真的没认出来。
这电影最神奇的地方在于看到了皮卡。皮卡，跟十八世纪贵族狗血爱情故事看起来完全不搭边的一个人，居然在里面。原著背景应该是法国，但大部分演员应该都是美国人，于是大家就用一种正经的美国口音讲话。皮卡就直接用他自己的格拉斯哥口音，在一群美国演员里突出重围。
