macoI finally got a pair of dance sneakers. (Well, ok, I have a pair of wedge ones already, but these are normal flat ones.) they’re Taygra Corridas, and they come with these white rectangles along the bottom edge.
In general, I don’t like the look of sneakers. I am too girly for this. They are a thing gym teachers made me wear, and it’s been almost 20 years since gym class, so no.
But the new practice space for DC Queer Tango Collective doesn’t allow pointy heels, so I needed flat practice shoes. I ordered these on recommendation from Elly Fernandez.
I told Elly I was going to sharpie in the rectangles so I’d have solid black ones, and they suggested rainbow sharpie instead, so here we go, all customized!
