On the #DailyWalk, I noticed that the wild plums have suddenly started blooming. Two warm (hot) days hurried them along.

The pollinators have also noticed -- in this case, a bee and small moth.

On my way to my physical therapist, I walk through this short street which on normal days is just fine, but in springtime it's suddenly mesmerizing.

These are overwintering tadpoles. Most likely Bullfrog, but I was just reading that Leopard Frog tadpoles will sometimes overwinter, too.

On the #DailyWalk, I spotted this Eastern Wood Peewee by the pond. It's the first one I've ever identified. It looked to me like an Eastern Kingbird, but smaller and slimmer.

These birds overwinter in Colombia and are making the long migration north. This individual might nest here or might still be heading north.
