Hour 83 of this Snow Day. Teacher-Wife has a craving for a cheeseburger but child demands pizza for lunch. Already spent the last few hours arguing about nothing in particular and losing several games of the Pokemon card game.
Before they call a snow day next time, please let me know and I'll happily plow the roads myself to ensure they make it to school and out of my hair (whatever is left of it)

🥳Unsolicited thrift store good news:
For just wanting the case for my RaspberryPi build, I bought a tiny, about 50 year old portable radio for €0,50. Clearly marked "(Philips, not working)".
I bought, for spare parts, a Scalextric slot car racetrack with two cars, €2. Clearly marked "broken".
What's hilarious is that, not only the radio works fine, the slot car racetrack came with EVERYTHING including spare parts and original untouched car decal sheet.
The racetrack is pretty clear case, I will... AHEM, my boys will play with it as is just fine.
But the radio though. It's cute as a little pig. I can't destroy it for a Pi build. 😁
I feel so lucky. Should I now go buy scratch tickets, chewing tobacco and a Peterbuilt meshback baseball cap? 🤔

Diapers 1 - AI Hallucinations 0 🍼
After a 1-hour night session and a quick diaper change, I finally fixed my #LangGraph agent.
The fix was simple but effective:
- Each tool now returns a JOB ID instead of.. nothing.
- The AI checks the status and waits instead of panic-looping.
- Switched outputs from JSON to Markdown. I knew I should've done it sooner, but I was too lazy 😭
Result: No more hallucinations. The agent is actually behaving like a pro now. 👀
Last bottle fed, everyone's asleep, I can start my #BuildingAtNight session.
I hope to last at least two hours before collapsing from exhaustion and being woken up for the 2 AM feeding 😂

I took my kid tobogganing yesterday.
After a few trips down the hill, I realized how strenuous the climb back up the hill was. Like very strenuous. Like chest pain and numbness strenuous.
I was able to cool off and settle myself but the effects would linger. A little scary actually.
Add tobogganing to the list of things my body can no longer do. 😭
