@gimulnautti Some of the same impulses that were captured by the socialist movement more than 100 years ago, are indeed today being captured by cryptocurrency and other decentralised cypherpunk projects.
However, the baseline of collectivist impulses in society has also radically decreased with all this time, resulting in a very different moral basis being applied for validating the goals of such projects. 🤔
