I should add to my previous post: If you want to learn #CW enroll for the #CWAcademy. I cannot recommend enough how useful the course is to teach you CW, how to make QSOs, and in the process introduce you to a whole crowd of new friends with the same interests. There are different levels depending on your starting point. I had already used https://lcwo.net to learn the code, so joined the Fundamental course (2nd level). More details are here: https://cwops.org/cw-academy/, including some simple tests to help you judge your start point. #ham_radio
Welcome to the Fediverse @KJ5LLO! People here are friendly, so say hello and make some friends.
Edgar and I are taking #cwacademy study together.
People may want to vet that your human, I see you have a profile and a picture up, don’t be afraid to introduce yourself with a post or two.
If you post graphics, don’t forget to add alt-text for those in the community who need that to experience all of what you’re adding.
It’s great to have you here—and welcome!
