A #collagepoem from 2018. I've been making them since 2013, and for many years they were a daily practice, so I have lots of photo albums/binders full. Now I do the NaPoWriMo daily poem in April every year to anchor the craft in my life, and still make collage poetry in addition to other (free) writing.

@slimepsychic @cutuptechnique I'd never heard of the #CutUpMethod -- thanks for the reference! (I've made notes about it in #ObsidianMD, now!).

It occurs to me that my whole "note making producing new posts" writing method is little more than an adaptation of the cutup method: #AtomicNotes on books and texts, scrambled around and repurposed to build new posts.

This has been a really fun year for releases at Histamine Tapes.
Here's one I had been anticipating since like 2019. The moment I heard Obsidian Shard I knew I had to put one their albums on tape. One moment piece full the next frenetic, this is what comes to mind when I think of #cutupmethod or #soundcollage .
