It's always a bit shocking to me how tight Curtis Mayfield's tracks are.

I was listening to this while riding around today and I was floored how good the horn arrangement and percussion was. It's tight from top to bottom. The horns are especially interesting to me because they have one foot in the old big band style but they also really swing too.. It's a tightrope walk but they pull it off.
