Educational Path of Nagliai Strict Nature Reserve is a magnificent place to discover beautiful nature between Juodkrantė and Pervalka, Lithuania 🇱🇹 On top of Gray (Dead) Dunes there's a spot where both Baltic Sea and Curonian Lagoon can be seen at the same time 📸

The area of ​​the Nagliai Nature Reserve, stretched out nine kilometers between Juodkrantė and Pervalka, occupies 1,680 ha. Here you can see the Gray Dunes, also called Dead Dunes, buried places of former settlements, spontaneous forest vegetation or the soil of hundred-year-old forests buried under the sand. Due to the strong winds, impressive gullies and erosions are formed in these dunes. In some places, fragments of old soils emerge from under the sand.
