(it/its) ♿ 🖕i am currently using a combo of a volumizing protein mousse, a stronger hold mousse, and a liquid wax from KMS which I honestly *adore* - and if I skip this one the curl falls out before my hair even dries from shower. the best curl butter was from Jozi Curls but greased me out halfway through the day even if I skipped my roots, and also is apparently only from Target.
I'm putting lightweight products into wet hair, I'm scrunching, I'm conditioning before and after wash, I'm absorbing grease between washes with dry shampoo. idk i am stuck #curlygirlmethod maybe too??? who knows

Face blocked but I did want to show y'all the progress. I haven't fully started "curly girl method" but to test and see if it would make any difference, I started using a sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner and not towel-drying the hair. The change has been drastic in approximately a couple weeks and I'm very excited to see what happens once we start treating it with product. This isn't even my final form. I have no idea what's next. I can't believe this texture was hiding for TWENTY-SEVEN YEARS.
In bizarre personal updates, we thought kiddo's very curly hair texture was coming mostly from my wife's side, as her mom ALSO has curly hair of the exact same texture.
This appears to be incorrect. I've put it off for a while but only a few days into the #curlygirlmethod I've started looking like Percy Jackson off of Wish, and I'd begun day 1 as appearing almost having almost straight hair except for the ends at the back. My wife is encouraging me to trust the process. Still trying to decide if I wanna post pic updates as I've so far kept my face off the app.
