Since I bought that sampler I suddenly found myself with a lot more #cigars than I usually have and so the dreaded question of cigar STORAGE arose. I looked at some #humidor cases with hygrometers and whatnot. and I was amused by the people who apparently spent considerable time and money only to store cellophane wrapped cigars in their well primed Spanish cedar boxes. I bought a cheap plastic bag instead with some moisturizer pads and that works a treat. My #cubancigars taste much milder now.
Turns out you can still buy #CubanCigars — just not the premium ones. Since I'm hardly a connoisseur anyway, I thought why not give the cheaper Cubans a test and got this #Guantanamera sampler. I only smoked one of the minutos so far (that's the short fat ones in the middle) and it was fine, bit stronger than I'm used and not as refined, but it didn't outstay its welcome. I want to try some #Cohiba #cigars next.
#CubanCigars have become prohibitively costly due to Covid, storms in the area of Pinar del Río and simply rising demand. I used to occasionally smoke #RomeoYJulieta - Mille Fleurs which was a cheap standard cigar but now is basically unavailable in Germany. Now I'm going to try #FlorDeCopanCorona from Honduras. I will report back here.
