Philippe de la #Cryptetonique m'envoie un scan de documents trouvés chez un brocanteur voisin. "Ets Eugène Huyghebaert, produits coloniaux, Malines, 1935". Au delà du charmant #lettrage à la main, je peux me réfugier derrière le fait que les #Huyghebaert de Malines sont distants des Huyghebaert d'Anvers, dont je suis issu, depuis la moitié du 19e siècle selon mes informations. Et donc depuis avant la #colonisation du #Congo par la Belgique. Mais je ne crois pas que ça m'immunise d'un millilitre du jus colonial dans lequel on a baigné et dans lequel on baigne encore jusqu'au-dessus des oreilles.

"On 7 November 2014 the first international RISO Expert Meeting ‘Magical Riso - 1001 Printing Experiences’ was held at the #JanvanEyck Academie in Maastricht (NL).
The day’s programme comprised lectures, presentations and demonstrations on risography. Featured speakers included representatives of Knust / #Extrapool, #HatoPress and #IssuePress, among others. The abundant programme further constituted a RISO exhibition that showcased printed matter made especially on the occasion of the International Expert Meeting by artists #JohannesSchwartz, #RobJohannesma, #JuliePeeters and #ChaimvanLuit, among others. Additionally vintage stencil machines from #ErwinBlok 's collection were on show. Here’s an impression of his vast collection of Gestetner stencil machines from the 19th and 20th century."
