Rebecca HillJust finished a faculty senate meeting where the warning of the "demographic cliff" was sounded. I am skeptical about this talk, given declining spending on higher ed by state governments. Does anyone here have any good counter-data, say re state budget declines per student? I saw one study that said there was an average drop of 13% in state funding per student between 2008-2018. #highered #demographiccliff #criticaluniversitystudies
