Finally dawned that it's the same #Crapita system as used by another one of my pensions, despite the providers having completely different names etc. Interestingly I did not receive a security breach notice from Capita for this second pension.
The 3 character stuff really encourages selection of less secure passwords and/or copying of a password en claire to work out character positions. 2/2
