WerschweinchenDuring my hike, one of the chain segments of my crampons broke (at the heel part), but it should be fixable.
Surprisingly, there was still enough tension so that they held on the boots, and honestly, I didn't even notice a difference while walking.
First time this season that I had to use my crampon spikes. Wore them for about 13km of the 17km total route, but I really needed them for maybe 6 to 8km, for the rest I was too lazy to constantly put them off and on again (and the ground was soft enough to keep them on)...

Getting some spikes / crampons was definitively a good idea. I only went for relatively cheap ones, but I didn't regret it so far.
