As we walked in, I heard Eddie Rabbit singing about how much he loved a rainy night. Aw, high school memories. Even still, I caught myself muttering under my breath along with Eddie, I hate a rainy night, I hate a rainy night. Well, today it’s a rainy night in Knoxville. Hmm, sounds like a good song title though it’s vaguely familiar. Anyway, it actually rained all day. I went out to bring the garbage cans in from the curb, and by the time I got back into the garage I was soaking wet, I mean like I had been hit full force by a Super Soaker. My shirt was soaked clear through so it was actually heavy on me, so straight into the laundry it went. So, I can say that, while I don’t really hate a rainy night, or even a rainy day, it’s not my favorite thing in the world either. #WednesdayWisdom
