Such luck! Accidentally found #CR2032 batteries that you can buy without a package. I'll have to think about storage a bit but it beats scissoring right on the edge of plastic and metal for two minutes every time I need to change one of the little ones.

I've never had to replace the battery in this fob before, and boy howdy is it terribly designed for that. Almost like they wanted it to be more difficult than it needed to be. I wonder why they would do that?

I just replaced another CR2032 "coin" battery in a Dell desktop computer. Seems that nearly every Dell desktop computer I work on or refurbish needs this battery replaced.

I have a stash of new CR2032 batteries on hand, as I need them often.

Don’t forget to replace those old CMOS batteries in your “retro” or “vintage” or “10 yo every day driver” laptops. I couldn’t figure out why every now and again this laptop wouldn’t boot after the battery completely drained. Duh.
