Here are some pictures of a Happier Pierre #Poilievre from his Snappier life.
I don’t know who that other guy is. Could be his “Daddy-O” —Pierre #Trudeau
Nice Hair, Though… 💇

#PierrePoilievre has time now, she says. No general election in 2025, no imminent risk of Conservative MPs losing their jobs, a new opportunity to speak to Canadians.

Good to see the NDP in second with 18.9% of the vote in one of the by-elections last night.
The polarization between the Bloc and Liberals in Terrebonne is pretty stunning but at least there was a clear winner this time! The CPC got just 3% and the other three barely added up to 1% there!
The Toronto ridings were at least a little more spread out, but both remain solid Liberal seats with more than 60% of the vote.
I don’t like how the Liberals gained their majority, a first in Canadian history… but that’s the hand we are dealt. Time to work at it.
Relative to the 2025 general election, University-Rosedale saw the #Liberals with almost exactly the same percentage of the vote, 64%; the #NDP up by 9% to 19%; the #CPC down by 11% to 12%.
Similarly, for Scarborough Southwest, the Liberals were up by 8% to 70%, the CPC down by 12% to 18%, and the NDP up by 1% to 6%.
And for Terrebonne, the Liberals were up by 10% to 38%, the BQ up by 8% to 37%, and the CPC down by 15% to 3%.

With Orban's loss, and (hopefully) the waning influence of he who must not be named south of the border, the "populists" days may be numbered. PP will hamg around being annoying until the #CPC comes to their collective senses.
Regardless of what you think of Poilievre, do you think he is a benefit or a hindrance to the party.
I’ll be honest, I have always liked Poilievre. My wife has always criticized his combative style, I didn’t mind it so much. Now we have a Liberal party - Carney, that is loving stealing the best ideas from the Conservatives. Can Poilievre convince Canadians to vote Conservative? Is it time for a new type of leader?
