#CovidCautious - NHS COVID vaccine eligibility in the autumn is going to be really restricted and I won't qualify for it. Do I want to try to find it privately? If so, how much is it reasonable to pay for it? I think £100 is too much. If it was £30-£40 I'd think it worthwhile. In between I'm not sure. AIUI the vaccine reduces the likelihood of severe illness for about 3 months. Does it help protect other people I'm around?

"Pre-existing conditions" was practiced first on disabled people. Israel knows it works to excuse genocide because we made it the rationale for dropping covid mitigations and insurance companies used it to excuse disabled deaths long before that. Funny mixture of a day so far.

Frustrated by a broken shower screen hinge and apparent lack of replacement parts (screen's fine and weighs a ton!)

'Treated' myself to lunch from a favourite haunt (#COVIDcautious takeaway). Owner wouldn't take payment. Why? "For being a lovely customer."

Drove past a lady with the back of her dress tucked into her knickers. I wanted to tell her, but heavy traffic impeded me. I hope someone quickly restored her modesty before all the village saw.

@afewbugs It's okay to get it out. You may not see us in your part of the woods but the #covidcautious community is still very much out there and in the fediverse 😷✊️

I am not to judge anyone's reason for masking up and I still have to hear any that are not plausible or kind.

I still mask everywhere. I am used to standing out with this and I do still struggle occasionally with how doing the right thing is made so difficult by those around us. We are here to support each other through this ❤️
