GOP lawsuits set the stage for state challenges if Trump loses the election

Before voters even begin casting ballots, Democrats and Republicans are engaged in a sprawling legal fight over how the 2024 election will be run, a series of court disputes that could even run past Election Day if the outcome is close. Both parties have bulked up their legal teams for the fight. Republicans have filed more than 100 lawsuits challenging various aspects of vote-casting after being chastised repeatedly by judges in 2020 for bringing complaints about how the election was run only after votes were tallied. Democrats are countering with what they are calling โ€œvoter protection,โ€ rushing to court to fight back against the GOP cases with several hundred lawyers.

Dear friends of Armchair #anarchrists ๐Ÿฆž

As we may #know, some #freedoms are blocked. For example, some streets or whole #counties in the USA are not #safe to #walk in, drive in or vote in. For some.

In other #countries, poverty and corruption is #compulsory for most people.

My #solution is very #simple but then so am I. #Empower. #Enrich and #join the #reboot on the other feet.

What can we do to #help, hinder, tinder or put out the firing home on the range?

I suppose we could avoid, live on the #run, #stand and be #counted #binfaces. Run for mayoress. #Grow our own #methodists, #methods and leaks. In the end we can but try to make a world unfit for the bank-rupturing #private hoarders ...

Hope you have a better plan such as GNU, UBI or something lovely ...

Herring advocate skeptical about precautionary principle in Strait of Georgia

Despite concerns of various groups and individuals about herring extirpation in the Strait of Georgia, Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO) says the area comprises about 50 per cent of coastwide herring biomass. Still, it prioritizes conservation and takes a precautionary approach to protect the health of future stock.
