"I know you hooded crows are smart. What do you see when you look at us?"

In July 2022, I noticed a hooded crow walking towards a fence in a park. I dashed to the other side of it and waited, hoping that the crow would hop on the fence and pose. Lo and behold, it did. Hooded crows generally don't rank high in cute bird lists, but I think they have a certain rough charm to them. And they are never far away, no matter the season.
