A few weeks ago, I was looking for a quick-to-make chili and happened upon this black bean + bacon chili recipe. I finally made it last night; if you like different chilis, you need to make this one! Next time I make it, I am going to double the recipe 🙂

How is #slowcookersunday not a thing on Mastodon? 🤔 I'm making teriyaki chicken. https://www.wellplated.com/crock-pot-teriyaki-chicken/
Steen is at a Krampus-themed beauty pageant and I’m stuck at home alone. I got stir crazy, so I made a big batch of rice bowls to eat for the next week.
These are filled with rice, green onions, pickled ginger, cucumbers (aka unpicked pickles), and salmon. I cooked the rice with a bit of broth, and the salmon is cooked with soy sauce and sesame oil. #cookingfortheweek #cooking #foodprep
