If a site doesn't have a "Reject All" option on it's cookie popup, I leave the site.
Seriously, I wish cookie popups would **** off.

@EUCommission "browsing the internet feel like living in a dystopian hellscape, and annoying cookie banners and consent forms are right at the top of that list." -- "uBlock Origin icon and go to Settings > Filter lists > Annoyances. Enable EasyList Cookie to hide cookie banners"

You are talking about free press, but how can we read the free press when it's blocked by cookie popups?
I think EU and its bureaucracy GDPR is to blame!

Concerning #cookiebanners:
1. Everyone involved has "legitimate interest", even mafia, marketing and intelligence agencies. It's not an excuse.
2. Needing to check boxes to object is opt-out, i.e. *on* by default. Considering the purpose, this is clearly a #DarkPattern and false impression/implication if everything else is turned off to be off.
We Care About Your Privacy
We and our 716 partners store and access personal data, like browsing data or unique identifiers, on your device.
Of course you do
, every single one of you 716 fuckers.
So you care, you say!? No you ****ing don't! These are your defaults!
If you really had cared, you wouldn't need to show this cookie banner at all. That's how much you care.
And then I haven't said a word about your 229 partners who might use your cookies.

GDPR cookie consent was supposed to protect privacy.
Instead, it created annoying popups that 99% of people click through without reading.
Before GDPR: Tracked without consent, working UX
After GDPR: Tracked WITH consent, broken UX
Regulation failed.

How screwed up must a company's thinking be to believe that it's fine and totally normal to have *277* partners that they want to give all of your data to?!
NOBODY that knows of this will be fine with that! So many people "agree" because they are annoyed to their limit and often aren't even aware that it's happening. The Problem is not that companies need to have these cookie banners, the problem is that they collect your data in a frenzy and give it away!
