Does a tiny, brand new ham radio contest need a retro 88x31 button?
Probably not, but I made one anyway.

The #EveryHam #AmateurRadio #Contest website is live!
I've set up a "Test" contest for tomorrow, 18 April, 0000-2359 UTC.
No guarantees that any part of it will actually work, but if you happen to be on the radio tomorrow and you'd like to submit 5 of your QSOs to the contest, go for it!
The submission window is 8 days from the start of the contest (day of, plus 7 days after)
This is the first time I've attempted anything like this, so I'd appreciate any feedback on the process, any bugs you noticed, etc.
Does anyone have thoughts on how to actually administer a contest like this?
My initial thoughts are to keep it simple and casual; trust that hams are submitting honest logs, then post the rankings on a website.
I'd love some input on a couple points, though:
Follow up: I've posted a draft of the rules!

I know the idea of trying to create a level field between big HF stations using #wsjtx and portable VHF stations on FM is probably an exercise in futility, but I think it sort of works (at least on paper).
Feedback is welcome!

I had an idea for an "every ham" radio contest, where stations of all sizes could compete on a relatively level playing field.

Does something similar already exist?
WA7BNM's contest calendar is a very handy resource.

Cool: GhostBox, a software defined #SO2R controller for #hamradio #contesting by YO3HEX: https://rig2cast.com/utils/GhostBox/GHOSTBOX_USERMANUAL.pdf
Requires two radios with USB sound cards. With OTRSP support, i.e. works with DXLog, N1MM+ etc.
