In het werk van beeldend kunstenaar Elke
Desutter staat het lichaam centraal. Voor de
expo ‘ALL HANDS ON DECK’ fotografeerde
ze delen van het lichaam van bewoners uit
(Zee)Brugge en verbindt ze hen in een in-situ
installatie in Fishbone.

Sunday may 4th, we will be presenting "les collages Qui" @verbeke_foundation

The original book 'les coquillages' (Sergio Angeletti, Editions Atla, 1977, 92 pages) forms the starting point for a mail art project in which the book slowly transforms into a sample of Belgian contemporary collage art.

The principle is simple: each artist is given one week to make an intervention, signs the book at the back, and sends it on to the next artist. There are no other rules, except the art of letting go.

At the moment, 36 artists have already contributed, and there are still a few more who are eager to continue working on it.

And en plus, we asked @dinska_bronska to dive even deeper into the world of crustaceans, and show her work inspired by shells

Finally finished this #workinprogress. With my new serie titled 'Cu 29' this work found it's finishing touch. This wall piece is backed up with copperplate so I can create more depth bending the shape of the original print

In 'Cu 29' serie I will be investigating how copper is present in the body and how I can combine my body part archive with copper structures in doing so.

#groupshow in @4n20kunstruimte

Vijf ouderen uit Kortrijk delen het verhaal van hun levensloop met een duo van een kunstenaar uit @coupee_collage_collective en een schrijver uit het @letterzetterkortrijk -collectief.
Onder begeleiding van schrijfster @sabi.aya verwerken de kunstenaar-schrijversduo’s de antwoorden op die vragen tot een fascinerende installatie.

De resultaten kan je van 14 tot en met 30 maart bewonderen in 4n20 tijdens de weekends van 10u-18u.
