I have said it before:
I find the Zenit 3M to be an incredibly beautiful camera.
A fantastic body.
The photograph itself was taken with a Contax G2,
also a beautiful camera and above all extremely fast,
with a lens as sharp as a knife.

I also refuse to censor a photograph like this.
We are Europeans, and we hold different values.
Simply see it as an aesthetically responsible image: it is not 1970s-style advertising,
nor is it intended to be erotic,
just a black-and-white composition.

We stay within the themes of art, religion, and analog photography ,
For a community centre called “Cabane Banane”, which temporarily used an old #rectory, I made a series of photos.
The experience of photographing and exhibiting in a former rectory subtly influenced the trajectory of my work, as elements of religious symbolism and reference began to emerge.

For clarity: none of these photos were the result of working with a single model… Several young women collaborated and therefore appear in this series.

This photo did become a wall piece above the DJ set.
A large print was made with Rasterbator and pasted onto the old ribbed wallpaper that was already present in the rectory.
