Conophytum ‘Sakura no Sono’ (桜の園) also in bloom. I can’t remember if this is the first time or not.

I’ve had this clump for a couple years and I don’t think I’ve seen it this happy before 🎉
The mesembs are really happy today 🌼🌸

Conophytums starting to bloom 🚀
In the greenhouse...
Conophyum longum
A particularly lovely flowerer at this time of year, with pink tinges to the white petals.
This plant was named Ophthalmophyllum herrei when I bought it, and now Conophytum longum. Names change as more is known about the relationships between species, increasingly through DNA analysis.

Conophytum uniforme: one that got away. In its prime in 2008 when this image was taken, characteristically flowering in early Autumn. I rather miss it at this time of year.
@f4rr3r look at this adorable dwarf Graptopetalum mendozae that I got from a Korean seller! Conophytum calculus for scale!! 😍
There’s a conophytum expert on Twitter who often talks about how conophytums need more light than people realize, and it’s easy to think they’re doing OK while in reality they are light-starved and failing to develop the next leaf. Then they just fall apart seemingly without warning.
I’ve had these for two years now (?) and they seem to be doing alright.
