There is an ongoing issue with the perception of #mastadon as a single entity.

On step we could take is to clearly delineate between the greater #fediverse and the federation of blocked instances. I am of the opinion that it would not be inappropriate to refer to that group as the #confediverse . The advantage is that they would regard this as a compliment.
