Here's one of the siphon coffee makers I bought in the last year: a new old stock, vintage 1970s Cona Model D unit. I posted it to Mastodon last fall.

Attached: 4 images I managed to score a 1970s-80s vintage, New in Box (#NiB) Cona siphon coffee maker recently. Says "Made in West Germany" on it. I already own a Model C (bought from Sweet Marias in USA in 1999), now I have a Model "D" (larger version). Fellow I bought it from says he bought it in early 1980s, but was stored away in the attic. Never used. Box, everything is mint. Veddy happy! #siphoncoffee #vacpot #vacuumbrewer #antique #conasiphon #conavacpot

Just a bit more on Cona. This design was first introduced (in a patent) in 1958, and hit store shelves in 1962. It has been the same design since (yes, Conas are still made today, but now owned by a Belgian company).

There have been some slight modifications in that time.

- Spirit lamp went from wide cloth to mesh cover (still cloth wick underneath), mid 80s
- Base handle had texture added later 1990s

This NiB one has older cloth wick, smooth handle. So early 80s, or earlier.
