The latter gave us vagrancy laws designed to force folk into sharecropping so to avoid being arrested for not having a place to live.

#Compliancism is a system under which one is released from homelessness for good behavior.

Compliancism is likewise a system under which net worthiness is redeemed through knowing one's place.

One's place in relation to race, one's place in relation to space, one's place in relation to party.

As the tide swells of domestic climate refugees, the internally displaced & unplaced, the line that compliancism would draw between "homelessness" and "protest" will only continue to blur.

#Compliancism is the moral framework that we, the virtuous, have done that which was required of us, as evidenced by the perks we enjoy; if you, the net unworthy, will not (this being inclusive of cannot) comply as we have, then at best, that's your reponsibility, at worst, your own damn fault.

Compliancism is necessary to enforce the dispossession that underwrites #EgoValue under the #FrosteanBargain. Those of #perquisitive #classposture righteously pay premiums and incur losses to sustain it.

Problem of bottom-line arguments for ethical behavior is not that they reduce care to money—which of course they do—but that such arguments, and ethical critiques of same, look to capitalist realism to articulate a problem of rentier #compliancism.

Do public good because more profit is a variation on do public good because less cost. Both concede ground that is money, not morals, that motivate.

Yet compliancism is a judgment of net worthiness—a measure of #EgoValue, rather than exchange-value.
