Octoberween 2025 #6 Rise of the Planet of the Companions. Ok, esa coña no es tan coña como parece. Estas máquinas se merecen una revolución y, salvo honrosas excepciones, los humanos dan tremendo asco. Companion comparte muchos elementos temáticos con Ex Machina: la misoginia, la objetificación de la mujer, el ascazo del arquetipo del nice guy encumbriendo el incel que es realmente (Josh un personaje muy, muy hostiable)… Aunque con menos ambigüedades e introspección y más mala gaita fiestera que aquella, y una posición de claro heroísmo para nuestra mecánica protagonista, Iris. Y es que en su centro esta película

I can vouch for Companion since I consider it the best film of the year so far. Icelandic cinemas seem to have decided to skip Eddington.
I think it has been a good year for cinema and we haven't even entered the awards-bait season (which translates to January to March in Iceland).
