A simple game that may have been known by a few names.

Your mission is to pilot your spacecraft to the surface of an alien planet, rescue captured personnel using your tractor beam, & make it back into space.

Not quite as easy as it sounds. 😅

There is are Commodore 64 in an episode of "Grange Hill" and the "Wandavision" episode "On a Very Special Episode...." There's an Commodore Amiga 1000 in "Les visiteurs" and an Commodore Amiga 500 in "Robot Ninja". The "Pennyworth" episode "Many Clouds" has a PET 2001 and an Amstrad PCW 8256, and the "Halo" episode "Reach" has a 64C, a CBM-II and an Apple eMac.

Saw a video review of a Commodore 64x yesterday, The guy was raving about how good the new Commodore OS is.

It's just a plastic box that looks like an old #commdore64 with a regular PC in it, running #Debian, with a theme that is a bit Commodoreish...

It was fascinating to hear him say how much better it was than a Mac or a Windows PC.

It's amazing how far a bit of nostalgia will take you!

A quick post to end the week, with Time Capsule. A completely unknown strategy action game that was listed as coming soon at the back of the manual for Aliants. Nothing else is known at this stage - have you heard of it? Possibly for #AtariST,#PC,#Commdore64,#Atari8bit and #AppleII
