The local early spring classics, coltsfeet and common hazels, I photographed recently in Espoo and Helsinki. It's difficult to walk past the first coltsfeet you see after winter without taking at least a few photos. The hazel catkins and tiny female flowers probably attract fewer photographers, but I go out of my way to see them.
